Benik is part of a team of local business combining resources to help healthcare workers facing shortages of personal protective equipment on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
We have partnered with local facilities to understand and address their needs. We have begun donating shields to western Washington hospitals, clinics and first responders. So far we have donated more than 20,000 shields, with the goal of building and donating thousands more.
Benik is not selling these items, and our capacity and supply will likely be limited to what we can offer to our local medical providers. There are many other businesses doing similar work to support the critical needs of healthcare workers. Reaching out locally to build similar partnerships may open up more possibilities for these alternate sources of personal protective equipment.
